Common Questions
Can I run the gas line myself and just have you connect the appliance?
No — all gas piping work in Washington State requires a licensed contractor and a permit. DIY gas line work is illegal, dangerous, and voids homeowner’s insurance. We handle the full job legally and safely.
Do you work with propane as well as natural gas?
Yes. We service both natural gas and LP (propane) appliances. Some appliances require a conversion kit to switch fuels — we handle that too.
My home currently has electric appliances — can I switch to gas?
Absolutely. If your home has a gas meter, we can usually run a new branch line to your appliance location. If you don’t have gas service yet, we can help you get connected with your local utility.
Do I need a permit for an appliance hookup?
It depends on whether new gas piping is required. Simply connecting an appliance to an existing gas outlet often doesn’t require a permit. Running new pipe always does — we’ll advise you on what’s needed for your specific job.
